2th TAVIRA-OPEN Open International Draughts Tournament October 7 – 12, 2010.
This open tournament will be held in Santa Luzia, Tavira, Portugal. Flights
to Faro, Sevilla and Lisbon. (see website)
The playing room is placed in the Junta de Freguesia, Rua F.J. Nascimento
Faleiro, - Santa Luzia – TAVIRA, Portugal
The Tavira-Open tournament is played on 8 rounds on the Swiss system.
Tempo is 120 minutes / 50 moves + 30 minutes until the end.
Price money is 80% of inscription fee. The first price is 400 € or more.
The start money is 55 €, half for juniors, international masters and grand
masters for free.
Bank transfer before 1 July will result in 10 € discount.
All expenses connected with participation in the tournament are on account
of participant themselves (travelling costs, accommodation and board, start
money).
Accommodation is very good possible. We have some hostels and many
apartments. The daily price is 40 € for a double room.
The tournament organisation will help for a lower price until 8 € daily per
person on a 2-, 3- or 4 person apartment.
Meals (7 €) and consumptions for café (0,60), beer (0,70).
